Chapter 6 Message Edit WindowMessage Edit Window - XML Viewer TabThis section will describe how to edit a message in the openned queue. If the data is well formed XMl then the XML Viewer will be able to display it.If you have previously opened SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE, the main panel may look something like:
From the main panel of MQ Visual Edit, select Edit, then Edit Message.
The XML data is shown in a tree view. The user can expand any entry they wish to. This wil allow them to view attributes, nodes and data with the XML data. Clicking the Save button will delete the old copy of the message and insert the new updated message into the queue.
The main panel is updated with the new message from the editing session
