Chapter 7 Show Message Descriptor (MQMD)

Show Message Descriptor (MQMD).

This section will describe how to show (turn on) the columns with the message descriptor (MQMD) data.

If you have previously opened SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE, the main panel may look something like:

From the main panel of MQ Visual Edit, select MQMD, then Show.

The message descriptor (MQMD) is contained within 27 columns. The MQMD columns have been inserted to be the first 27 columns displayed to the user. Note: Side the horizontal scroll bar to see your data.
