Chapter 8 Find NextFind Next.This section will describe how to use the Find Next feature. The Find Next function allows the user to continue searching the messages of the queue for a particular text string. The search will begin from the last matched position of the previous search.If you have previously opened SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE, the main panel may look something like:
From the main panel of MQ Visual Edit, select Edit, then Find Next....
A popup box will be displayed to the user. Enter the search string into the Find What: field. If you want the search criteria to exactly match the inputted string then select the case sensitive check box.
After clicking Ok, if a match is found, the table cell containing the matching string will be highlighted in yellow.
When you are done searching, click the Cancel button. The row containing the last matching search string will be highlighted.
