- Description: JHelioDB is a tool to allow the user to export / import data to / from the Helio Desktop v2.0 PIM. Currently, only the export function is working. Requires Java to be install on your system - either JDK (Java Development Kit) or JRE (Java Runtime Environment). The JDK or JRE can be downloaded from Sun.
JHelioDB can now export Helio Desktop data to the following formats:- Eudora Nickname format
- LDIF formatted data (Netscape)
- Opera Contact data
- Lotus Organizer data in Comma-Separated-Values format
- Outlook data in Comma-Separated-Values format
- Palm data in Comma-Separated-Values format
- Raw data in Comma-Separated-Values format
- XML format
JHelioDB uses JDBC-ODBC drivers to access the Helio Desktop database. The PIM database is just a MS Access database. Before you run JHelioDB, make sure you run SetupODBC4JHelioDB.exe (included in the download).
